We were very excited to announce that the 2017 Brunch For A Cure was a huge success. The Brunch For A Cure was a city wide brunch event, where participating restaurants agreed to donate at least 15% of brunch proceeds to Susan G. Komen Baton Rouge. We celebrated on March 9, 2017 at the Time Out Lounge with a Brunch For A Cure Social. Franz Borghardt announced  that the event raised a over $11,000! Here’s a live feed of the results!

Largest Brunch Team: Penthouse Club, Gold Club, and Crazy Horse Cabaret

Best Team Theme: “Off To The Races” at Galatoire’s Bistro

Most Money Raised By A Restaurant: Mason’s Grill

Most Creative Restaurant: La Divina Italian Cafe’s “The Art of Brunch”

Best Restaurant Theme: Breck’s Bistro

       Check out the main stage of Brunch For A Cure! The Penthouse Club – Baton Rouge went to The Rum House Caribbean Taqueria and City Pork Brasserie & Bar. Gold Club went to Mason’s Grill. Crazy Horse Cabaret went to Capital City Grill Downtown!

            Lastly, Susan G. Komen Baton Rouge recognized Franz N. Borghardt, of Baton Rouge Brunches and Geaux Rouge, as a “I Am More Than Pick” cape recipient. Thank you to all the restaurants that participated and all the citizens who brunched for the event!
